Innovation Sprints

From Idea to Impact

Innovation Sprints are where creativity meets action. Whether you’re looking to crack a tricky challenge, test a bold idea, or launch something new, our sprints give you the structure, energy, and guidance to make it happen.

Led by Rachel Murphy — seasoned facilitator, entrepreneur, and founder of The Innovation Lab, our sprints are powered by Design Thinking and the Lean Start-up method. With over 200 sprints facilitated through UCD and experience across public, private, and education sectors, Rachel brings the tools, insight, and energy to unlock meaningful change.

What is an Innovation Sprint?

A facilitated, fast-paced process that helps teams:

  • Frame the right problem

  • Generate bold, human-centered solutions

  • Prototype quickly and test with real users

  • Build momentum for implementation

Our sprints are collaborative, creative, and outcome-driven, with just enough structure to keep things focused and just enough freedom to spark real innovation.

The method behind the magic!

Our sprints blend:

Design Thinking – to deeply understand users, redefine problems, and generate creative solutions.

Lean Startup – to test assumptions quickly, learn fast, and reduce risk before big investment.

This combo helps teams move quickly without compromising quality, relevance, or user needs.
